So, when Isha Sharma of Aahilya Holidays asked me to lead tours for her company, I was delighted to say yes.

Why architecture as well as textiles?

I have a passion for strong, simple shaped buildings and forms. They are so useful for interpreting designs.

Add to this a love of Islamic design and decoration, Uzbekistan brings all my loves together. Come and discover the amazing Suzani embroidery, local goods and crafts, we will have a fantastic and inspirational trip.

The colour and designs of the tile decoration that we will see on our journey along The Silk Road will be fascinating.
